If you are looking for somewhere very private in the bush to come and escape to, you will be hard pressed to find such a comfy weekender which has been built approx. 300m in from the front boundary of these 40 acres (16.14ha). Better still, it is a very easy drive to tidal creeks and quiet beaches.
Solar powered (approx. 1.5kw), the weekender is large (approx. 13m x 7m) with a carport at one end. It is well set out with an open plan kitchen, dining and lounge room. Timber is featured throughout, and cooking is done on a gas stove. The bathroom is roomy and incorporates the toilet. One of the two bedrooms is located upstairs and has its own balcony. Hot water is gas and total rainwater collection is approx. 11,000 gallons.
If you prefer mains power, power is connected to a meter box on the block about 300m from the front boundary. You would only have to bring it approx. 200m across from the meter box to the house.
There is a verandah across the front of the home and an undercover area out back.
.
A large area has been cleared around the weekender making it an attractive setting with a couple of fruit trees. There is a shade house, chook pen & goat pen with two paddocks fenced with goat wire.
Ranging between approx. 40m & 57m above sea level, the block is fenced on 3 sides. One boundary fence needs attention. The owners have heaps of walking tracks through the block which show you that although it is a timbered block there are quite a lot of open areas beneath the canopy. There is a small spring fed dam at the front and a small dam at the back which is seasonal.
Besides the major boat ramps on Baffle Creek (15-20 mins drive), there are a couple of access areas where you can launch the tinny closer to this property. If you simply want to have a swim, there is a lovely area approx. 6km away.
Mail is delivered 5 days a week and rates are approx. $1,145 per year. Children can catch the school bus out front to both primary and high schools, the closes being Rosedale which also has a Kindy. Coles deliver to this area and internet is either wifi, nbn satellite or starlink as all are available.
Approx. distances: Baffle Creek 25km, Bundaberg 73km, Agnes Water/1770 48km, Gladstone 109km.

Well known for good fishing, crabbing and prawns, Baffle Creek is an undiscovered area and thus quiet and peaceful. Bitumen roads from north or south, most of our blocks are 40 acres or larger which helps ensure your privacy. Crocodile & box jellyfish free, there are 4 tidal waterways and beautiful unspoilt beaches. Add a sub-tropical climate to all this and what do you have - paradise :)
